Twenty percent of Americans do not take any key safety factors—issues that physicians would consider critical to patients’ well-being—into account when choosing an over-the-counter (OTC) pain reliever, according to a new national survey.
The U.S. Pain Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving those who live with pain conditions, conducted an online and phone survey to determine consumer behavior and perceptions for selecting and using OTC pain relievers. The
