New Program Ensures Naloxone Access to Patients at Risk for Opioid Overdose

BALTIMORE—Pharmacists at Johns Hopkins University Hospital have developed a program to help ensure that patients who are at risk of opioid overdose have access to naloxone. Two pharmacists from the hospital discussed some of the components of the program at the ASHP Summer Meeting.
