Intra-Op Opioids Heighten Risk for PDNV in Children

SAN DIEGO—The administration of intraoperative opioids was significantly associated with post-discharge nausea and vomiting (PDNV) in children, and long-acting opioids had far worse effects than their short-acting counterparts.
