Topical diclofenac sodium was able to produce clinically significant relief for osteoarthritis patients, according to new research presented virtually at PAINWeek 2020. Jeffrey Fudin, PharmD, discussed his work, which found after a week of using the gel, the diclofenac sodium group had about a 10% decrease in stiffness, pain, function and pain on movement when compared with controls.
