For First Time, Botulinum Toxin Injections Found to Improve Quality of Life in Migraine Patients

A new meta-analysis found for the first time that use of botulinum toxin type A injections provided quality-of-life benefits for patients with chronic migraine by deducing the frequency of occurrences.

The French research team also noted that the botulinum toxin injections provided superior pain relief to placebo, according to the analysis.
