Denver—Researchers have identified several independent predictors of success with high-frequency transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (FS-TENS), which is a novel approach to an existing technology.
Interestingly, they also found that FS-TENS was more effective in treating upper body pain and hip/low back pain than extremity pain.
“This device (Quell, NeuroMetrix) is a pain-relieving device that is worn on the upper calf,” said Xuan Kong, PhD, the chief data scientist at
