Should Improving Patients’ Eating Habits Be on Pain Clinicians’ Radar?

Pain patients’ eating habits may significantly affect the occurrence, development and prognosis of chronic pain, according to a novel study.

Recently published data indicated that roughly one in five patients receiving rehabilitation therapy for pain have poor eating habits (Sci Rep 2024;14[1]:4705). However, approximately 20% of patients also reported a desire to eat healthier, showing a need for tailored nutritional care.
