Black phosphorus-enhanced antibacterial injectable hydrogel (HAABP) may inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and relieve inflammation in wounds, according to the findings of a new study.
The study sought to evaluate injectable hyaluronic acid hydrogels for the treatment of soft tissue infections after prosthesis replacement, including total hip and knee arthroplasties (APL Bioeng 2023;7[1]:016103. doi:10.1063/5.0121241). Researchers developed HAABP through dynamic coordinative
