At the end of this summer, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) arrested and indicted a large group of organized criminals suspected of pharmacy burglaries and distribution of stolen drugs across 31 states. After announcing the indictment, the agency issued a new safety alert about pharmacy burglaries and directed pharmacists to resources to keep their businesses safe and stolen drugs off the street.
