In an open-label extension of the one-year VAST (Viable Allograft Supplemented Disc Regeneration in the Treatment of Patients With Low Back Pain) clinical trial, patients with level 1 or 2 degenerative lumbar disk disease and refractory chronic low back pain continued to report pain relief after receiving investigational allograft injections.
