There has not been a consensus statement on treating migraine from a U.S. or an international headache consortium in more than two decades, so updated, evidence-based recommendations are desperately needed, according to John Sturgeon, PhD, a clinical assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Michigan Medical School, in Ann Arbor.
“The research on the best-supported interventions date back roughly 35 to 40 years,” said Sturgeon, who is the sole author of a poster on a
