Study Results Make Case for Capsaicin Patch As First-Line Postherpetic Neuralgia Agent

Two studies presented at the PAINWeek 2020 Live Virtual Conference suggest that the efficacy of the high-concentration 8% capsaicin patch is comparable to that of the pain drug pregabalin, with fewer adverse side effects, when used for postherpetic neuropathy.
