HHS Establishing Pain Management Task Force, Seeks Member Nominations

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Tom Price, MD, announced the creation of a new task force to develop best practices for prescribing pain medication and for managing acute and chronic pain. The HHS, which is overseeing this effort with the secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the secretary of the Department of Defense, is seeking nominations for task force members from the public.

The Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force, which was
